Idt high definition audio codec problem

Hello you can download and install the right driver here from dell:

Please select your windows system.

Select audio and download the driver.

Here is 2 different ones so you have to try.

The file maybe have to be unziped before you install.

In order to find the right driver.

Good luck

go to the vendor website download the driver

download updated driver software from dell support website.

try this .go to start and then click on run and type sndvol32.exe ..u get a control of volume..thanx

You can download the audio codec from this WEB site has Free Codecs www.free-codecs.com/index.htm

when u open the computer put the format cd in straight away and reformat all again

get the high defination audio from the realtek site and install it

1. Upgrade Service Pack 2 to SP3, can be downloaded from Microsoft website

2. Download and Install MS UAA - Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio - KB835221.exe

3. Download and install the latest IDT drivers - HP IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Driver 6.10.6087.0 Rev.B from http://drivers.softpedia.com/progDownload/HP-IDT-High-Definition-Audio-CODEC-Driver-61060870-Rev-B-Download-75824.html

Restart Laptop, you are all set!

Try and install the "Modem" first restart and then wait if it ask for a driver in your audio.
