When you say it won't start, do you mean it won't heat up or do you mean it won't spin?

Contact a professional to have the unit diagnosed for repairs. Sounds like the heating elements are either faulty or the main control board won't allow the unit to heat up correctly.

check the plug it sounds like the plug is not secure only getting one leg of current push in firmly

If it won't heat it will be either the heating element or the thermostat or the control board.

Most likely the door for your kitchen range has a sensor that is not allowing it to heat up because it detects that the door is not closed.
I would suggest you consult help from a certified technician by the manufacturer of your Kitchen range that way they would also be able to check other possible faults on your kitchen range and replacement parts would be 100% compatible.
