I have a sidekick LX which i was trying to clean the screen for. I successfully cleaned it but in the proccess of putting it back together I guess something went wrong. When the phone came on I saw the display but the backlight never comes on. At first I thought my screen went bad so i bought another used sidekick LX with a working screen.I then swapped my screen with the working sidekicks screen and it worked on it! So it looks like the motherboard on my sidekick is bad for giving backlight. Is there any way to fix the backlight problem?

You will have to take it to your nearest T-Mobile store. Some stores are now setup as replacement centers as long as you have insurance for your phone. Check for locations on www.t-mobile.com

un screw the screen blow at the metal ends inside the phone and the lcd and screw it back on and do that until it works

Which connectors? Which connector on a sidekick LX is it that gives it the back light? Im pretty sure everything is connected right there isnt much to connect/disconnect from the screen to the phone.
