When paddle boarding,
you should stand in the middle of the board. The nose end (front) should not be
sticking out of the water and the tail should not be digging into the water.
The fins can be easily removed to transporting the paddle board, however they are used for navigation of the water so you should not try to paddle board without the fins attached.
No actually it is better to paddle board on less choppy water and flat water is preferred when beginning to practice your skills.
Paddle boards come in
three sizes 10ft, 11ft and 12ft, the size is determined by the weight of the
person and how many paddles there will be as well as how far the paddler wants
to glide between paddles. Normally a person weighing less than 160lbs will
choose the 10ft board and someone weighing over 160lbs would take the 11ft. If
the paddler is heaver let's say 300lbs or they want to have more than one
paddler they would take the 12ft board.
