Great old Jenn Air range needs advice!

We bought a house with a oldie, but a goodie Jenn Air S100 electric range. At first the large front burner would not get very hot. we called home warranty folks, they sent out your approved DK Services (Jim, nice man!) and he replaced both switches, (infiniti 703650) in the module.

Both back and front burners worked fine at first, then the front burner would not turn off. we had to carefully pull out the whole module to get it to go off. Jim came back out and replaced the front burner switch and then it was OK for a short while. Now it;s doing it again!

we are wondering if the burners require DIFFERENT switches from each other? is there any other reason or part that could be causing this??? Do you know the correct replacement part numbers? ...or have a parts list for this paticular model??
thanks!

I need a left front burner for a CP 220B Jenn Air electric downdraft cooktop: Serial no 069760DM. I also need a new blower motor, I think. Possible???

This is the first result I found; it may not have the best price:

http://www.appliancepartspros.com/jenn-air-range-cooktop-oven-burner.html

The site also lists blower motors, but be sure to verify that the motor is defective before ordering; they are very expensive.

My large burner at the front does not work, yet when i replace it with\r\nthe large burner at the back it does not work , yet when you put the front burner at the back it works.

Your front burner is fine. Assuming you have an electric cooktop the problem is in the switch that controls that burner. The infinite control switch. Replace it.

My Jenn AirCooktop Model CVE3401 burner problems

The part you need to replace is the switch. The switch is housed under the top and connects to the dial you are turning.
The switch for the dual burner is 12002125, and 74011242 for the single burner.

The single burner switch runs about $20.00 and the dual runs about $50.00 for the parts

Jenn Air uses a reignition system on their gas cooktops. It is very important that you have a well grounded recepticle. Please check that and please get back to me.

Jenn-Air Electric stovetop / oven range SCE4340B - Fuse blown ? ? ?

Andy, sounds like you lost a leg of power. Check the breaker box first. Maybe the contractors tapped an existing breaker instead of adding one for the burner/broiler. You would have to check the terminal block on the range. Should read 120V from each end to center and 220V across the two outer terminals. If you don't have this, something got messed up with the contractors. Catriver..post back
