When I plug in my hdmi set top box my monitor says no signal

check your video card settings and output selections. You may want to check and update drivers for your video card to ensure they are current.

Hi, What model Hannspree is it? you might have the resolution set too high for the monitor!

try unplugged all units involved---HDMI does not like being hooked or unhooked with units powered and or on.

Wait a while and make the connections and then power set, box, whatever is inline back---the units will try to reboot and that may cure the issue- it is worth trying

Try any other receiver that uses HDMI connect it to you LCD Monitor then that will tell you whats faulty.

Tries tv and cable or satalite boxes unplug,replug it back for like about an hour later.By letting tv resetting itself back to the factory setting and those pay boxes upgrading it softwares.The tv HDMI signal for the tv incomming broadcasting signal should be back,if not, tv might have a dead HDMI cable or that the HDMI 1 hub it plug in is shorted and dead.

I have the same problem.  It only occurs with my HD DVR (HDMI cable), not my blue ray (HDMI cable), or my xbox and wii (component video).  Video and audio cutout is random and drives the family nuts.  I am desperate for a solution.

check all power cable. check vga cable,

If i am not mistaken you can select the HDMI signal going out on the 663, this means you should select to have only pictures to go out as sound will have to be reproduced by the 663.
So HDMI output setup on the 663 should indicate image only, no sound.

I have the same problem.  Did you find a solution or just return it?
