T8 Bagless poor suction. All filters new and canister is clean. Not even much suction when I remove the hose.

Have you checked the pipes from the dust bin itself all the way back to the hose? There could be a blockage somewhere in the system.
Have you checked to see if all the drive belts are in place and working? A loose or missing belt can affect suction.

My Miele S3141 canister began acting strange this morning. No suction...so I took off the hose and checked for blockage, (nothing). Now I can't get the hose back on the canister. It just slips ar

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Air filter:
If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up dirt and has no suction the air filter might be clogged. Remove the filter and either clean or replace it as needed.
Exhaust Filter If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the exhaust filter might be clogged. Remove and clean the filter, replace it if its torn or damaged.

Vacuum Hose If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the vacuum hose might be clogged. Remove the hose from the vacuum cleaner, stretch it out straight, shine a bright flashlight in one end and try to see light through it. If no light can be seen, use something to run through the hose and free up the obstruction.
Vacuum Bag If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the vacuum bag might be full. Clean or replace the bag as recommended by the manufacturer.

Dust Cup AssemblyIf the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and has no suction the dust cup assembly might not be installed tightly, or it might be cracked or broken. The dust cup must seal tightly in order to produce the right amount of suction. If it is cracked or broken, replace it. Most glues and adhesives will not successfully seal the crack.
Blower Wheel If the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and there is no suction, the blower wheel might be jammed or broken. Check the blower wheel to be certain it turns freely. If it doesn't, check to see if there is anything rubbing against it. If not, but it's hard to turn, the motor is most likely the problem.

Vacuum has lost suction and is making a hissing noise

I had the same problem with my Kompressor.Initially I had cleaned all three removable filters. There is two in the canister that can be washed with dish soap. The HEPA filter is located in a compartment on the lower front side of the vacuum. This HEPA filter should not be washed.I found that tapping it inside a trash can dislodged alot of dust from it. After cleaning all the filters and canister I was having the same hissing noise coming from a small hole near the bottom of the vacuum. Next I removed a hose fitting on the lower back of the vacuum and that is where I found a very large amount of debris clogging up the hose. I used a metal coat

My vaccuum cleaner is an EVERSTAR 1200. I turned it on - everything appears OK until I realize that it is not suctionning. I cleaned out the canister - made sure the vacuum was not obstructed. Still no...

First clean the filter on top of the canister, do not wet it, blow it and get all the accumulated dust out. Then check the hoses for obstruction. There should be an emergency valve on the rear part, if it is open, you better ck the hoses.

I have a dyson dc 17 what is the best way to thourghly cleaning , so I can get better suction , also do you have a instruction manul to. I seem to have misplaced mine thanks

The first step towards improving the suction is to clean the circular HEPA filter. The filter also houses a circular sponge which should be rinsed and dried before putting it back. Check the HEPA filter to see if it needs replacement -- will look muddy! Another quick check is to remove the HEPA filter, run the vacuum cleaner momentarily in upright position to check if suction is restored at the hose end.

After doing this if suction is still poor or non existent, you should detach the transparent canister - a bit tricky since the release rod for the flap has to be aligned when you want to reassemble the unit.
Once the canister is removed, you should check and clean the center tube/shaft for any clogged dust (use a wire coat hanger if needed to pry out the dust). This tube gets clogged if the vacuum cleaner was used to pick up damp/wet spills etc.

My vacuum comes on and make loud noise but will not **** anything up

the vacuum is clogged either the hose or the canister. turn it upside down to unclog it if its in the hose, take the hose off and turn it around and put it back until your hear the suction sound like a big thump, then put your hand to cover the hose and feel if the suction got stronger, then replace the hose, if rhat doesnt work find something to push the clog thru the hose and periodically put the hose in to suction the clog out.

No suction using extension hose for Bissell Bagless Upright vacuum. i checked for clogs and found nothing. shannon

Check the sole plate where the beater bar is. You may have to remove the roller brush flap to get into the roller brush and then check the main dust channel beside it. Usually if there's no suction on the hose it means that:
1) The hose is blocked 2) The filters are needing cleaned / washed and dried for 24 hours or see my tips! 3) There is dust clogging after the beater bar/roller brush.

No air pressure to **** up dirt

First test suction on unit without the hose, is there suction? If yes, attach hose and test. If no go to the door to outside, attach hose to the top of unit where it blows (under handle on top), put hose out door and turn on. The stuff clogging the hose should blow out the end.

If it wasn't the hose check the wand, and then the power nozzle and using the above to clear obstruction.
