When i turn the sandisk on it says"not enought space for music db please free 90mb" but i cant seem to free any space on the sandisk
The only thing to do for this error is goto My Computer/Computer and right click on the Sansa player, choose format. Select Quick format. It will delete all data but at least the player will work again.
:-)
O delete songs from your device follow the steps below
You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync panel in your windows media
player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus
signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click
delete.
To format it..on your device..go under..menu, setting and there should
be a format option option there..let me know if that doenst work for
you...
Hope this helps
P.S.Please rate accordingly...

i was uploading music on my sansa 4gm mp3 player and everything jus went haywire. it pulled up music md needs 90mb free space and i was uploading music on a 4gg external memory stick. and it wont let me free up any space on my mp3.
I have the same problem but I can't find my music where you said to look it recognizes that it is full but doesn't recognize the music
When I try to turn on my Sansa Fuze 2GB it says "Not enough space for music DB, Please free 90MB"
i tried your steps, but no songs are listed on my device in Windows Media so i can delete files to free up the needed space.
what is the MSC mode?
