The only thing to do for this error is goto My Computer/Computer and right click on the Sansa player, choose format.  Select Quick format.  It will delete all data but at least the player will work again.

O delete songs from your device follow the steps below
You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync panel in your windows media player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete.
To format it..on your device..go under..menu, setting and there should be a format option option there..let me know if that doenst work for you...
Hope this helps

Won't stay on

That is a glitch in the firmware, nothing you can do about it except remove files.
You can flash RockBox firmware on it and that'll fix the problem.

My sansa fuze 4 says not enough room for music db please free 90mb what does that mean

There needs to be some space for the part that finds and tracks the songs. There are too many songs/pictures/video on your Sansa. Remove some. Its always good to have some extra space. Don't fill it up completely. Always leave 100megs free when loading the player.

It keep saying not enough space for music DB please free 90MB when i turn it on

Remove the microSD card, then connect the Sansa to your computer. Delete one or more files (music, photos, videos) until you free up the required amount of memory.

WHENEVER I TURN ON THIS SANSA MP3 PLAYER ALL SEE IS A READING THAT SAYS "DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGHT SPACE FOR MUSIC DB. PLEASEFREE 90MB" WHAT DOES THIS MEAN.

It thinks you have tried to put a files on the MP3, called,  Music DB, and wants you to "Free Up" ie: delete unwanted files up to 90MB, old songs movies etc so it can complete it's job. However it may just be a fault?

"Not enough space for music DB. Please free 90MB"

What has happened is that when you connected the device to the computer if automatically downloaded everything on your media files thus filling up your MP3 player
You need to go in and delete the files you do not want. click the bottom part of the disk or dial and it will show a menu to delete FIRST,
you must let the battery run down(disconnect the cable and when the battery has discharged, you can plug it back in to recharge, then you can work with it to delete some of those files that are overloading you device This happened to me and this was the only way to unlock it when it locked up

Not enough space for music DB. Please free 90MB

Remove the microSD card and then delete one or more files from the Sansa's internal memory to free up an additional 90MB.
