Your power center outside has to be "trained" again so it and the remote recognize each other. I don't have the charts in front of me but check your manual or one online. It's fairly simple to do.
If that still doesn't work, the problem may be with either the remote or the power center. Good luck with it.

SOURCE: have pentair easy touch controls just installed
Go to "calibrate" on your new unit and lower the spa "set at " temp a little
SOURCE: minimax pool heater cuts out at 91 degrees when remotely set for
Check the temp reading on the heater. It is probably set at 91...heater control should be set to 104
SOURCE: Pentair Mini-Max NT Pool Heater does not get very hot
The thermistor is a common failure on this heater. With a setting of 104 and the heater shutting off early, the sensor is bad. If you have a digital display, check the water temp with a thermometer and compare that ot the display. Odds are that they are different. The thermistor plugs into the back of the thermostat board and is a thin whire wire set or thibker yellow wire. The white wire sensors are old and most have fialed by now.

I found a solution that worked on an online forum.....it suggested that resetting just at the pool panel might not work unless you first power down the complete power at the main house panel. Wait a minute and turn the power back on, then go to the pool panel and reset the system and remote. Instructions to reset communication are in the user manual. Several tries at resetting did not work until the main power was shut off. This solved the problem.
