Insignia ns-55l260a13 does not power on. Power led blinks 5 shorts, pause, 2 shorts and stays on. Screen blinks and nothing else happens afterwards.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Wii completely stops working after power outage

I just had the same problem as everyone else. I had a brief power loss and our new Wii system's power would no longer work. To fix the problem, I unplugged everything from our Wii and unplugged the power cord from the outlet. I let the system set for 10 minutes and re-plugged the power only. That did the trick. Then I was able to plug everything back up and we are now back to playing.

Supposedly, doing the steps above resets the Wii according to the Nintendo online trouble shooting guide.

30inch insignia

Sounds like power supply problem (either poor connections or bad capacitors).sometimes they look deformed or you have to check them with an incircuit capacitor tester.

NO POWER AT ALL!

Does the power supply have its own power switch?

It is located next to where the power wire plugs into the back of the PC.

Insignia Mp3 player frozen

If you hold the power button for 20 seconds it will shut off. I had the similar problem where I unplugged my Insignia NS4V17B frozed on the bluetooth initializing screen. I turned it off then back on and it is now working fine.
