Mine is not refurbished and still works wonderfully but can not watch it because we can not buy the base stand, neck, and bracket w/screws it came with because Sharp has discontinued making the pieces. I have looked on Ebay, Amazon and other distributors that sell parts but they have all been out and do not expect to receive any more due to the fact that it has been a discontinued item. Please help so I can enjoy my TV again!!

If the Aquos 46 is anything like the Aquos 42, the monitor is attached to the base with machine screws (bolts). They are located in the lower back portion of the monitor, probably need an Allen wrench to loosen and remove. Once that is done, the base can be removed from the monitor. Best way is to lay the monitor face down on a tabletop padded with foam, a quilt or blanket, etc to protect the screen as you work. Remove the stand from the monitor, not the monitor from the stand; it is easier and safer that way.

With the 4 long screws removed, it should come out.

They are metric screws, you van get them at Lowe or HD, try M5 or M6. they are about 35cent each so you can try difference length.
