Thinkpad tablet 2 keyboard passcode

If it has a USB connector then buy a USB keyboard off eBay.

Via Bluetooth. I assume your keyboard is a Bluetooth keyboard, as this is the only type of keyboard you can connect to a tablet or mobile phone. Follow the instructions on the set up guide that came with the keyboard.

When you get to the screen that says "Enter the passcode for your keyboard", just under the box where you would enter a passcode if you had one is the phrase, "Or try entering a passcode on it". You will notice that this phrase is gray instead of white. It is a link. Tap on that phrase, and your tablet will display a new passcode. Type this passcode on your keyboard and press enter. They will then pair.

make sure phone is set to discoverable in bluetooth settings and it should give you a passcode for the other device tryin g to connect

You turn the power off to the Thinkpad Tablet 2 keyboard by holding the power switch to the right for 3 seconds.

I had the same issue, and i resolved it by:

1. Typing the code '0000' + Enter on the tablet screen, making the tablet check
2. Hitting the same code '0000' (and maybe Enter, don't remember) on the keyboard right after.

..then the tablet paired the keyboard correctly. Good luck!

This is because it is set to US english keyboard layout rather than UK English layout.

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Keyboard

and change the language settings
