Can you go through a metal detector with a pacemaker?

Metal detector security screening appears safe for people with pacemakers or implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), researchers found. Metal detector gates, which generate much stronger electromagnetic fields, also appeared safe for cardiac rhythm device patients in a prior study by the same research group.

How do I use the mosquito repellent function on my home well misting fun?

According to Joseph Conlon, a medical entomologist and technical advisor to the American Mosquito Control Association, mosquito season is already bad - and West Nile Virus, which is most commonly transmitted by the pesky insects, doesn't even really kick in until late summer. Plus, studies have found that certain types of mosquitoes are more likely to snack on pregnant women.
"Pregnant women may be more attractive to mosquitoes," Conlon says. "If the pregnant female is breathing more due to carting about a bit of extra weight, then she will also be a bit more attractive to mosquitoes, because mosquitoes are attracted to carbon dioxide." Plus, pregnant women have a warmer average body temperature, which is a cue for biting and landing, he adds.
So use mosquito repellent for baby and also during pregnancy

I heard from a friend that it is not safe to handle cat litter when pregnant. Is this true?

This statement is partially true. Pregnant women can safely handle unused cat litter; however used cat litter should be avoided. Cat ***** has been known to transmit a disease known as toxoplasmosis; which can seriously harm an unborn baby.

I just found out that I'm pregnant and want to know if its safe for me to sleep on my waterbed.

First of all, congratulations! Now, I am no doctor, but I can see some dangers to sleeping on a waterbed while pregnant. First risk that I can think of first is the use of electricity to heat the bed. Studies in the past have shown that there was a higher rate of miscarriages with women who slept on a waterbed (or used an electrical blanket. The second hazard that comes to my mind is the heat. Your internal body heat should never go above 101 degrees. By sleeping on a heated surface, you can increase the chances of birth defects, or worse, miscarriage. I would suggest buying a new bed. With all that being said, many manufacturing companies suggest using waterbeds while pregnant. They say that it increases the comfort level for pregnant women and allows them to sleep comfortably on their stomachs; thus taking pressure off other parts of their bodies.

What are the chances of getting pregnant having *** the day after your period?

You can get pregnant whether you're having your period or not. If you have ***, you can get pregnant.

However, it's not as common as other times. You get pregnant during ovulation, which for the average women is every 28 days. Most women on a regular 28-day cycle are supposed to ovulate on or around day 14 of the cycle (13 days after the first day bleeding begins). The first day of your period is day 1.
But not all women ovulate every 28 days. Some even ovulate during their period. Always use a condom or another form of birth control if you don't want to become pregnant.
***** can live for about 3 days inside of you, so even if you have intercourse on the last day of your period, it can live for awhile. Remember that some women ovulate earlier than others.

Yes, however, because the body is going through a changing, and very draining time, a pregnant woman may have to switch to more gentle, light cosmetics, such as Clinique.
