Tried F8 and got into the set up, there is no Shadowing or chacheing that I can disable. I have also tried to reinstall windows to overwrite the problems but that wont even launch into safe mode.

I'm wondering if you entered setup when you start the computer, you can do as the screen suggests--disable bios shadowing or cacheing?

I can't remember right offhand what the key is you press to enter setup, but when you start the computer, it should prompt you.
Whenever I can't remember, I just start hitting keys at startup. The ones I go for are F2, F12, and Del. If those don't work, I just sort of hit all the F keys. But I don't let my clients see me do it! It's a trade secret.

When you get into the BIOS, is there an option to load fail-safe settings? If so, choose that.

Mike:   Look in your manual to see how to get to the BIOS setup screen. Find the BIOS shadowing or catching and shut it off.    If you need a manual download it. If you cannot get it going again, doing that . Try using the reload CD's. If you don't have one ,again look in the book and see if it is on the hard drive or wher.e If you need additional help, just ask.
