what is the mod num> 650, 700? no a lot help. check the freeze inside the upper part for any ice build up

The paint is peeling off my door handles on the OUTSIDE of my car. It's very noticeable as underneath the paint its white ....my car is silver. On one of my doors the paint is almost completely gone on...

the same is happening to the out side but they dont recall it if they dont have to! lose too much money!

any luck in fixing the frost build up at the top? - having the same problem with mine. replaced the seal 6 months ago and problem has now returned.

Ice making for sub zero 48

The sub zero should make ice soon after being installed. If there is ice around the door frame of the freezer there may be a problem with the door frame heaters. There should not be ice around the door frame.

SubZero 690: Frost builds up on ice chute flapper door

you have a bad seal, Take a dollar bill and slide it in between the door seal and the frig. slide it up and down to see if if has drag on it. If you find places it dont touch loosen the screws and adjust the hinges till it fits tight. In some cases you might have to tweak the doors if they need it.

Yes, this is normal. My 642 does the same thing. It seals to be more efficient while trying to cool back down after it has lost heat while open.

HI, You will need to change the ice maker. You are getting the paint from then coating inside the cube tray.

Right hand side wall in the freezer - take a look- any frozen water or moisture? Need check a drain line, usually defrost heater inside the freezer wall getting bad and draining water just freezing inside of it.

I have found no fix for this. I have tried repainting but it is not long before the paint is falling off again. Get ahold of sub-zero and tell them of the problem.

I have had the same problem and contacted SubZero and the only thing they said was "we will offer you a new refrigerator for $5000.. There is no way to fix the problem." I was appalled by their answer... Sub Zero will not stand by their products and want to force you to buy a new one a slight discount.. That is sad..
