SOURCE: Necchi 525 FA model

This site (www.sewusa.com) sells manuals for many types of sewing machines. It also has a section (on left side of home page) that provides basic information about treading (bobbins too) and repair.

I also own a 525 FA and just read that someone considers it is a piece of junk. I'm having problems with the tread breaking constantly (with many hours spent on this problem) and I even have a manual! Perhaps it is a piece of junk?

Good luck!

SOURCE: Necchi Heavy Duty Sewing machine model 3205FA,

Generally when the needle does not pick up the bobbin thread, it means the needle is either too far in or just plain the wrong length. YOu might want to try lowering the needle just a hair and see if that helps.

SOURCE: Necchi 4757 - need to know which way the needle

Insert the needle with the flat side to the back. Thread the machine from the spool, left to the guide on top/rear, over the top towards the front, around the tensioner and up, around the take-up lever from right to left, down throught th semi-hidden guide, through the needle clamp guide and thread the needle through the front to the back.

My upper thread is jaming up underneath the fabric under the foot plate. Its a necchi 535 fa/fb

That is generally called bird nesting or thread nesting, or what I refer to as "thread mess." It occurs because of a top tension issue but usually because the thread is not completely seated in the tension disk.

Remove the top thread from your machine.
Install a brand new needle.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning.
Set the top tension around the midway point and retest your machine.
Adjust the top tension until the top and bobbin threads meet in the middle of the fabric. (Tighter top tension pulls the bobbin thread up. Looser top tension, the bobbin thread pulls the top thread down.)

Other helpful hints:
Avoid old or bargain bin threads.
Install a brand new needle every 8 hours of sewing or whenever the needle hits something hard like the needle plate or presser foot or gets bent or damaged.
Make sure the needle, thread, and fabric are compatible, ie do not use ball point needles on woven fabrics, do not use a needle which eye is too small for the thread, etc.

How to thread a Necchi 3205 FA royal series

Search for:

Make Model threading
or
Make Model manual

https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/instruction-manual-necchi-3205fa-sewing-machine.aspx

Even if not your particular model, basic machine threading is very similar from one to another. Just be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the top thread---and change the needle often.

I need a diagram of how to thread it or a problem solver the thread eeps breaking at the needle

Search the internet for:
Manufacturer + Model + the word "Manual"

or search YouTube videos for "sewing machine threading." You may not find your exact machine, but many machines have similar threading patterns. Be sure to raise the presser foot before threading the upper thread so it will seat properly in the tension disk.

If the thread is breaking at the needle, it could be several problems:
Threaded incorrectly--#1 cause
Upper tension too tight
Install a brand new needle compatible with the fabric & thread
Make sure the thread is not too large for the needle eye
Avoid old, fuzzy, bargain bin thread

The top thread keeps braeking. This is a recent problem. I use singer needles. I live in South Africa. I dont get necchi needles.

Usual causes are:

Weak or inconsistent thread..

Threaded wrong.

Needle installed backwards or not seated.

Incorrect tension or contamination in the tension control.

The key to finding the problem is to manually turn the machine through cycles and watch at what point the thread breaks or is strained excessively.

How to thread necchi 537L sewing machine

From the reel pin take the thread to the left and over the top thread guide above the takeup lever, make sure the takeup lever is up and and make sure the presser foot is up, take the thread straight down and round the right hand side of the tension unit and back up the left hand side to the takeup lever, thread the takeup lever right to left and take the thread down any guides to the needle, if the bobbin case goes in the front thread the needle front to back, if the bobbin case goes in the side thread the needle left to right.

Thread jamming, wont feed material, sewing in one place

Try moving the stitch length dial to 4 or 5 - check the manual. You may have it in the position for very close together sewing. I had to do a lot of trying with my 4795 to get it to work right. I found that very thin thread, polyester kind, broke at the needle after a couple of stitches. I switched to coats & clarks thread and a Singer ball point needle and it works fine. Be sure your needle is inserted with the flat top toward the back of the machine. Good luck!
