Try re-setting the ram and/or try different ram. Also make sure you have all the motherboard power wires connected, 20/24 pin main motherboard power, and the 4 pin cpu power (usually only if you have an Intel cpu). If that doesn't solve it, try another known working/new power supply.

Please see this as reference

Continuous long beeps-RAM error
2 short beeps- BIOS error
1 long and 8 short beeps- Display Card error
1 long beep after few seconds 2 short beeps-FDC error
1 long beep after few seconds 1 short beeps-FDC is Ok
1 long beep and 2 short beeps-Display Card Error

Most probable cause is Ram memory, please try removing modules and reinserting, also try using alternately just one of them to determine which one is defective.

I have a mecer computer, LGA 775 motherboard asus and the problem is the computer turns on when switching on and there is no display it beeps non stop . CPU and power supply fans are working ,lights goes...

continuous beeping is Power supply, motherboard, cpu, or keyboard problem. somecases it can also be the memory.

start with the memory then cpu and powersupply and finally motherboard.


let me know if the beep code changes as you change components, count the short and long beeps.

My ECS 915 G-A elite group motherboard doesnot display anymore on the monitor..

have you tried to isolate what the cause of the problem? first check the video card if is properly inserted into the slot, and check the memory, and cable from CPU to monitor if it is connected properly. then boot your system. And try to observe this beep error code this might help you locate where the problem is.

1 long, 1 short beep System board problem

No beep,No Display on my monitor,only CPU heatsink fan is moving

have you thought about changing the battery on the motherboard, also checking that the fan on the cpu is seated properly with enough heatsink paste as both these issues will stop the pc from booting

motherboard problem motherboard can't display when switch on, the cpu fan faster no beeping . I had change power supply, but same.Check the keyboard LED,Not flash.I had remove the ram but can't hear beep. PC speaker ok conferm. Monitor display tested monitor its ok . But no comming display. if your motherboard does not give beep and display; remove your processor and ram and try working processor and ram on your motherboard, should there be no beep and display, your motherboard is dead.
