Ask the seller you bought it from. If the seller doesn't have it call Apple: 1-800-MYAPPLE. That lock code is frequently found on phones which have been either lost or stolen. I think the lock code is 4 digits. That means you would have 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 10,000 combinations to try. I am really not trying to be funny. If the seller can't give you the lock code, odds are there is a reason you might not like.

There is no workaround to this without help from Apple. The lock is not on the iPhone itself, the lock is on Apple Servers. So you need to call Apple support for advice. But the only way they would unlock it for you is if you provide a proof of purchase that states the device serial number.

Try to hold the home button and the power button down together until you see a white apple.
