POLAROID FLAT PANEL TV PICTURES JUST GOES!!!!!!!!!

TV WILL START AND TURN ON FINE AND THEN AFTER 5 MINUTES THE SCREEN WILL GO BLACK & TURN OFF.JUST STARTED DOING THAT ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO?I JUST BOUGHT THIS POLAROID TV OVER THE HOLIDAYS?

    i have the same problem,the only diference is my stay for 10 minutes,somebody told me the fan that keeps the resistor cooler is bad,,,do you know place to fix it?

    I was watching tv on my 40"Polaroid HD Widescreen Lcd flat for only 10 minutes, then the picture went completely black, but I can still hear the volume on all the channels???

I have a 42" poloroid HDt/LDT and I pumped it while moving and the screen is cracked and I receive no picture just lines. Is this fixable

Polaroid TDX-02610B, Tv was working fine, turned it off, now when I turn it on it flashes polaroid then goes black.
If it is only the screen going black but the TV remains on and you can hear audio, then there is a problem with the backlight. It could be due to bad capacitors or it could be a faulty inverter. It requires repair by a competent engineer.

Polaroid tv screen goes black after 30 40 minutes, sound is good. No picture. Turn set off and wait a few minutes and the picture returns for a few minutes then goes black again.
Ur tv now power on only have picture few mins,than dead,have sound only?Yes,than the 1 or 2 the long board call the LCD inverter boards are dead.The LCD inverter long boards help the LCD screen to have a backlight to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards for the replacement.

TV goes to blank screen after turning it on (about 3 to 4 minutes) but I can still hear it fine. I turn it off and wait a few minutes(5) then turn it back on everything is normal then it goes back to blank...
This tv the LCD inverter board is dead,that why is not sustanning backlight for the LCD screen light to have the picture.Call Polaroid for warrenty repair,this tv under a year old.

I have a 46 inch polaroid lcd tv that when you turn it on everything is fine but after about a minute it starts making a loud squealing noise,even if you mute it, but it will stop after about 15-20...
my 46'' inch tv polaroid lcd has been working fine for 3 years. today my wife and I noticed the tv is shutting off the screen will go black and the power light does switch to red. you can here something inside the t.v clicking but you can turn it on and it will start back fine for 20 minutes then shut off again? Does anybody know whats going out on the tv? let me know

Polaroid 4241-TLXB wont stay on
I think I may have just solved this issue. Remove the back covers and turn the tv on until it the screen goes black. There will be a little red led that will light up when the screen goes black. right above that light there is 4 little swiches, the bottom one is labled BURN. Switch that one to the opposite direction. I don't know how but mine has been working for a couple days now with no issues. GOOD LUCK!

Screen goes dark after few minutes
check your LCD inverter maybe there is loss connection or some parts damage from inverter.
