I have a Wave KB m/n:Y-RCP140, P/N:820-000396(137340-001-B), PID:MC822CZ, C/N:02905 It worked fine on my previous HP cV7-1023cl...but due to unending VISTA aggravations I swapped for a new MacBookPro OS X Intel based laptop. My problem with this Wave is I keep getting an "automatic" endless series of dashes...for example when I clicked on thi9s chat and had battery in wave it automaticly generated endless deashes in the e mail address box. Very annoying and has me seeking a different keyboard. Do you make a WIRELESS backlighted keyboard? Really need if available. Can you fix endless dashes?...thank you Bruce Nelson

SOURCE: Logitech Wave Keyboard + windows XP

Im certain those features on that keyboard are designed for Windows Vista , but if you have any software that was with the keyboard install it , now these features should work.

If you can't find your CD/'s here is a link to the logitech website with the applications

>> Logitech Wave Keyboard Software <<

If you find this doesnt help , im certain that it was designed for vista not to work with XP.

SOURCE: Unable to connect Logitech cordless keyboard

Of course you know to press the connection button on the receiver then on the keyboard. Since setPoint is recognizing the connection I wonder do the multimedia and function keys work? Do you have the the USB receiver for the KB/Mouse plugged into a hub or KVM switch? If so plug it directly into the back of the PC.
