SPEED QUEEN TOP LOAD WASHER HA4011W-3000; a 25 year old M/c.. It had a seal successful seal repair job this week. Now after WASH, the motor is tripping while starting SPIN to drain at the end of WASH cycle and when trying for final SPIN cycle.
Normally the agitator was freely rotating in one direction and now it is not free in either direction. It seems the TRANSMISSION remains in WASH cycle always or brake is active perpetually
I have used the ‘brake action’ to prevent rotation to tighten the large HUB HEX NUT with hammering on spanner.
Was this detrimental and it caused the current condition?
Please help with the remedial action to get the W/M into spinning cycle.
