The red ligt on with water inside

Hello!
I bought a Crane Elephant Humidifier, but after one week of use, the red light went on with water inside.
What should I do?

Same problem. Red light turns on after 20min of operation with 2/3 water.

Same problem here - I looked in the manual, and did not see this particular problem Noticed if I lifted the head slightly, it worked, so put rubber bands around base to raise it just a bit. Worked one night. Now red light is flashing.

Humidifier power light is staying red and not turning green Humidifier is working than stops: ? Ensure that water level sensor is assembled properly. ? Clean water float ? Call service center and request replacement water float

Why does the crane elephant humidifier leak

The humidifier has just started leaking from underneath the trunk part and drips down the front side and pools quite a bit underneath the humidifier causing quite a wet mess. This just started after I ordered a replacement water tank. Any suggestions?

Anyone know where i can get a replacement tank for the crane duck humidifier without buying it from crane?

I have an elephant humidifier with a broken fan. I just posted the problem, but I doubt there is a solution. I'm sure the tanks are interchangeable from looking at the manual, if you don't mind an elephant (I don't know if the lid is interchangeable). I would hate to throw it out and have one more thing in the landfill. Maybe I could send it to you?

No mist is coming out of it but the green light is on.

Hi Lisa,

Check that there is water in the Water Tank.
Make sure that nothing blocks the Mist Output Slots.
Check that the Fan Vent on the bottom of the humidifier is not blocked.
Empty the humidifier and rinse the Water Basin with cool tap water and allow to dry for 15 to 30 minutes before resuming normal operation.
Check for possible mineral deposits on the Water Level Sensor or the Nebulizer.

I tryt to turn on my humidifier tonight.1st the mist was coming out just little bi,but there was no green light on,like the manual sed and the humidifier was making some wird noises too.

Ensure that the water tank cap is secured properly to water tank.
Empty out water in water basin. Place filled water tank on to empty water basin.
Clean Water Level Sensor.

My wife dropped the the tank on my daughter's humidifier, can i buy a replacement tank?

Yes, go to the crane website. My fan is broken, and if I can't fix it, you can have my tank.

Humidifier filled with water, but red light is on

If you overfill it, the red light goes on. just dump a little out and it should go green. Worked with my crane duck humidifier. Hope it helps

Our Crane Elephant Humidifier is getting moldy on the inside and we can't figure out how to open it to clean. Lost the manual. We change the water daily and it's still all moldy!

Changing the water does not clean it. Please see the instructions for how to clean it, they are online at Link to Manual: pg 9 if I remember right.

On/Off function

the kitty will turn off if you rotate the dail all the way to off (straight up). Look at the pink arrow on the dial. You will feel that the knob does not want to go any further when you are at "on" which is the lowest setting and no steam comes out. But you have to go all the way to off.
The elephant and frog models have actual on/off switches but this one its just the dail.
