How to remove front panel on GE model GT65EBMK0DG dryer

GTD65EB - if this was your actual model number line, which you seemed to be missing, you need to take off the shoulder 1/4 screw in the back on the control panel, then remove the control panel pushing away fromy you, then your remove the two philips screws located under the control panel, open the dryer door, then remove the two philips under the lid, then move the lid back and then remove the two shoulder philips screws holding on the front of the unit. then pull the front of the dryer towards you, then remove the dryer front by pulling up, disconect the door switch wire, and the lamp wire on the top if yours has a door lamp. make sure its unplugged before attempting, if you have issues call GE appliance service for repairs.

GFWH1200DWW GE front load washer won't unlock red lock showing

From an article I found online:

See if manually opening the door will reset everything. Unplug the washer and remove the lower front panel like you're going to clean out the drain catch. Once you remove this panel you can reach up behind the upper front panel and pull down on the small plastic pull tab attached to the bottom of the door lock assembly. This will manually unlock the door so you can open the door.

Now once you have the door open, plug the washer back in and see if you can start another cycle.

How do I clean lint from inside GE Harmony Profile Dryer?

You have to remove the panel. The assume the lint filter works better then they usually do and do not make it easy to open up and clean inside. You may have to open it from the back side which does open up to allow repairs, etc.

M y dual fuel GE oven has no display showing it just went blank, but when you open the oven door the light goes on

I had the same problem as devlin50 with my GE duel fuel 918 model.
If you trip the circuit breaker off and leave for one minute before switching the power back on then hopefully the panel will be flashing, worked for me. Worth trying as replacement panel is not cheap, about $220 here in Canada.

GE side by side GSS20IEP Refrigerator freezer freezing

this is a problem that is no stranger to most GE side by sides; GE has used a glass type defrost heater in the freezer which often fails. If you manually defrost your appliance (unplug and leave doors open for 24 hrs) then plug back in, it will appear to work normally for a few days and gradually build up frost on the evap panel (back panel in the freezer) and eventually the refrigerator side will seem to loose cooling due to frosted damper, or lack of cold air transfer over the evap coil. The fix for this is to replace the defrost heaters (s). While not as common, defrost thermostats can open causing the unit to skip defrost, and even less likely is the defrost control (either mechanical timer or adaptive defrost). First, defrost your appliance, then remove the evap panel and ohm out the heater(s), if open, replace. If they check ok, check your defrost thermostat (small disc like object attached by a clip on the evap. coil itself) for signs of popping open or open ohm readings at normally closed temperatures. Its a good idea to change this anyway when replacing defrost heaters as the two work hand in hand. Last, check the defrost timer by manually advancing the screw advance clockwise until you hear the first click, then check voltage to the defrost heater and thermostat, if no voltage present replace timer. If your appliance is equipped with a adaptive defrost board, refer to the schematic for proper diagnostics.

GE Profile making knocking noises at different times

I have the GE profile Refrigerator with ice maker in the refrigerator compartment. Mine was knocking loudly for long periods of time, so I finally removed the icemaker by removing the side panel in the icemaker compartment held with 1 phillips head screw, disconnecting the electrical plug (unclip), pulling the tab of the icemaker down (on top) and sliding it toward the door, thus removing it. There was ice frozen in the motor compartment that was the problem. I let it thaw out and re-installed. All was OK after that..

How to open front panel of washing machine?

I think you use a putty knife and slip it between the lid and the front panel and depress some clips that hold it on.  I'm looking for the same answer and that's all I've been able to piece together so far. The GE manual is worthless on this point.
