Can not hear the beep notification when a call comes in. Have moved the mic earpice up for more volumne, Any other solutions?

The lifer is what notifies your headset that it has an incoming call. Try turning the ringer volume up on your phone first and see if that solves the problem. If that does not help, it could be that the sensor on the lifter is going out. The lifter ships with a ring detector that has a 2.5mm jack on one end and a small round microphone on the other end. You could try plugging this into the back of the lifter and setting the microphone next to where the lifter is mounted on your phone. This might help in picking up the sound of the phone's ring tones. If that doesn't help, you might consider replacing the lifter.

When playing online on my xbox 360, my tritton 180 universal headset works, but ppl can't hear me talk. Help.

Hi,

Do you have the chat cable connected?

Is the mic turned off on the inline volume controller?

Is the Chat volume turned up on the inline volume controller?

Test the microphone on a PC by plugging in the USB into a PC and test if it works.

If it doesn't then you can ask for a spare microphone from TRITTON / Madcatz.

If the mic works on the PC then the problem might be with the chat cable which you can also ask from TRITTON or Madcatz.

Hope it helps...

I bought a samson se50 headset microphone to go with my GTD Audio wireless system. It has the correct adapter plug to plug in to the transmitter. The plug is a mini XLR plug. The microphone does not...

You need power from the transmitter to power this mic. See your mics specs to determine if it needs "Phantom Power"
Perhaps the transmitter doesn't supply power. Condenser mics may not work. Stay with the dynamic type. IMHO

My microphone will not work, and my computer won't recognize!

Common problem with this headset.

In short, the wiring for the mic in the left earpiece is quite shoddy, and over time will be worn away by changing the mic position or come loose with minimal effort.

Have had a over a dozen of these fail in our internet cafe due to this issue after a couple of months use.
