Are you sure it's a microSD card, 2GB or smaller? The LG800 won't work with higher-capacity microSDHC cards.

Camera takes pictures without memory card but won't when memory card is in, why

What type and size memory card? The C653 works with MMC and SD cards, 2GB or smaller. Even though SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work with this camera.

Samsung PL50 with Samsung 2GB memory card says 'memory full' even though I've cleared down the memory via my laptop.

Have you actually formatted the card in the camera ? Just copying the photos does not remove them from the card

I can't upload my Nikon coolpix s2500 photos to my computer even though I have installed ViewNX2 from Disk supplied

ViewNX won't download pictures from your camera. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Nikon Transfer or Picasa.

When I turn on the camera, it says "memory full" even though there are no pictures in the memory card

It's probably referring to the camera's internal memory being full. To get your card to work, do this... with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Once that's done, your card should work.

I have a finepix A920. Message saying memory full when I put card in, even though I have deleted all photos. Tried another and says the same. Internal memory will only let me take four pictures and then...

insert card, format card.
goto setting-> select save picture to...-> choose card.

you should see a card symbol on the screen when you take picture.

It keeps saying memory card is full. Bought a new memory card and put in and it still says the card is full.

Are you sure that isn't "internal" memory card is full message?

Sometimes, when "internal memory card is full" there is no more space in the camera's internal memory. Your camera has 16 MB of internal memory. The number of pictures you can store depends on the picture size setting you have selected on your camera. Keep in mind that the camera always uses internal memory, even if a card is installed (auto default).

If really, the problem is in the "SD memory card", I suggest make some backup all files and reformat the SD. Try formatting it in the camera, there should be a process in your owners manual for doing this; donw formatted SD in your computer, isn't good.

Hope helps.

When transfering pictures from camera to PC EasyShare will not transfer some pictures. "picture already exists" in My Collection. These are all new pictures taken with blank memory card. This occurs even...

Scrap the camera! Kodak hasn't and won't address the problem. Most picture download software won't recognize the camera. The only solution is to remove the memory card from the camera, put it in USB adapter and treat it like a flash drive. Cumbersome. Awkward. Stupid. After you scrap the ****, tell your friends so they don't make the mistake of buying a Kodak.
