No power When I press power button.- Battery is full

I have charged htc diamond last night. The mobile was on.

In the morning mobile was off. I have tried to power it on but no response.

Battery was fullsince I checked it on power meter.

Even when I pluged it on A/C supply there is no charge or power response when I press power button.

Mobile is only 2 months old. Brand new.

My HTC G1 phone has been acting up for some time now. It just randomly shuts off. Last night I decided to try it again and it lasted through the whole night but then when i woke up in the morning I looked...

FOR HTC wildfire
Do a hard reset:
Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC Wildfire as a result of this procedure. This process does NOT delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.
1. Turn the power off. If your HTC Wildfire is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and release the Power button
4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power button
7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC Wildfire.

Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

Crappy battery length

One replace the battery.
2 when you get your new battery for the first time charge it for almost 24/hrs
over the next week use it till its almost dead then charge it at night from about 10 or 11 at night till you wake up the next morning. You may have killed you battery by not doing this in the first place.

Htc touch diamond freezes on start-up

I called and spoke to HTC ..apaprently there are issues with some of the handsets .. and its power related ... the best this is to do 2 things to solve any number of issues....
A: Get a replacment battery, and recharge it fully without turning the phone on. So plug it in and charge it until the white pulsating light is fully lit and not 'breathing' ..as they say. Once fully charged then turn on your phone...
B: Once on ... 'hardware' reset it -  (you turn on the phone, holding the volume down button, and the hang up button and pressing the 'software reset button, at the same time)
Should solve it ... IF it dosent .. and your getting the same issues after battery replacment, software and hardware resets ...you've basically got a 'hardware' issue with the phone in which case you need a replacment or repair... (make sure your phone is insured)
Hope that helps folks...
p.s. My phone eventually stopped charging ...nothing, no power so i sent it back for a replacment which im waiting for to arrive...
