Sync error I constently get a notification that says sign in/ sync error. so I hit the the button to sign in and it gives me a capcha, then enter password, and it always says its wrong.  I wen to my data synch. and it says "sync is currently experiencing problems. it will be back shortly.. this was days ago, and It wont let me go to my downloads in my android market.. it is driving me crazy, someone please help?!?!?!?!

    I've had the same problem for 2 weeks now. I took the phone to the T-Mobile dealer and they called tech-support and had the phone reset. I had to redownload my applications but the SIM kept the contacts info. The gmail worked for about 2 hours before I got the same message again. I've learned that certain applications don't work without utilizing the gmail function... ie, Shazam cannot send me the songs it analyzes and I cannot send a voice recording to anyone, etc. I'm extremely frustrated with this phone. At first, the battery wouldn't hold a charge, right out of the box. We took it back the next day and the guy who sold us the phone took the battery out of his own phone and swapped with me (which was cool). But I think my phone is lemon.

    My phone was synchnoryzing jsut right but the last time it worked was on Jan 28th 2009. after that it keep giving me the same message. Sync is experiecing problem. it will be back shortly.



    I tried to take out hte sim and the battery but it didn't work,. I have over 600 contacts with over 1400 phone numbers. and I added too many new and it's really bad if I can't do the sync for the contacts.

I had this problem once....i had to reset the phone. after the reset, the device will ask you to sign in again. it should work then.....

keep in mind, resetting the phone will delete all info like apps you have installed on tthe g1. numbers and calender appointments will be safe if you can remember your login info!

with the handset off, press the HOUSE and POWER keys > you will see a triangle with a yellow '!' inside. > slide open the keypad and press 'ALT' and 'W' and go through the set up again. this should work! :) good luck!

Go to where you usually sign-in your account. Hit forgot password; reset password. enter user id and new password. When google ask do you want them to remember password for this site - hit yes.

You do not say what type of password was set and if you have forgotten it or just want to reset from a known password..
If you just want to change your gmail login password
- Go to google.com/accounts on the tablet browser
- Sign in
- "Change Password"
- Go back to the Home Screen on the tablet
- Open the GMail app, clicked on Menu, then Refresh -- you will get a sync error
- Wait for a notification to re-enter your password (a triangle with an exclamation point in the tablet notificaiton bar and/or something in the gmail screen)
- Enter the new password

This simple solution sometimes works:
Turn it off.
Turn back on.
When you get the warning triangle in the notification bar, open the notification.
You will then get a login screen.
Input your new password.

Pattern Lock- Incorrectly enter pattern 5 times (4 or more points each time) . Pop up message will appear Click Next and you will be prompted for goole a/c details or security for pattern lock.
tap forgotten pattern and on next screen enter goole account details. Then next screen allows you to choose a new screen lock option.

Locked with PIN or password _Try Screenlock bypass pro from play store.
The only other solution is a hard reset which is only as a last resort. You need to access Androids Recovery mode. Check your manual. Most devices it is power off then power up holding volume + and power buttons.
Once in this mode use power down button to highlight "wipedata/factory reset option, then use power button to select it.
Vol - button to to scroll and select yes delete all user data option with power button. When device reset select option to reboot now and the device will turn on unlocked but you will have lost your personal data.

Face unlock - you were asked to provide a pattern or PIN backup when you set it. Just bypass and enter PIN or pattern.

Hi, I just purchased a new optimus phone from Metro pcs. I tried to enter my password for my wifi and must of got it wrong and now it won't let me try anymore

Instead of hitting connect hit the forget button. If that doesnt work then factory reset your device. Turn power off to the device then hold the power, home, and the volume up button at the same time after the first sign of it powering up release the power and home buttons while continuing to hold the.volume up until the android symbol appears and gives you the options to do a factor reset. Scroll down to the factory reset then hit the power button. Oh use the volume buttons to scroll up and down to get to it. Hope it helps..

How do i change my email password

Login to your yahoo email and click on your username in the upper-right corner and select Account Info. You may have to retype your existing password again for security purposes. Then click change your password. Enter your current password and choose your new password. Save. That's it.

To change your password:
  1. You need to be logged in with the ID that you want to change.
  2. From Yahoo! Homepage, click on your username in the upper-right corner.
  3. From the pull-down menu select Account Info.
  4. You will be asked to sign in again before you can access your "Account Info" page.
  5. Click Change your password.
  6. The "Change Your Yahoo! Password" page will open.
  7. Enter your current password.
  8. Choose your new password then enter and confirm it.
  9. Click Save. You will see notification that your changes have been made.
  10. Click Continue.

This will make your printer feed out 2-3 labels each time it is turned on or the head is closed to determine the label length.


SET/UP EXIT

Hit the "+" quite a few times until you get to "MEDIA POWERUP"

Hit SELECT

Use the +/- keys to enter the password (1234)

Hit SELECT - you should see a small - and + button on the screen on either side of NO MOTION (if not, repeat previous steps)

Hit the + sign until you get to CALIBRATION

Hit SELECT to exit MEDIA POWERUP

Hit the + button to go to the next item HEAD CLOSE

Hit SELECT - you should see a small - and + button on the screen on either side of NO MOTION (if not, repeat previous steps)

Hit the + sign until you get to CALIBRATION

Hit SET/UP EXIT (twice) to save changes (permanently)


Open and close the printhead to check to see if it worked!!!

A warning sign showed up on my pull down so I looked at it and it said google sign in error says entered wrong password or account has changed. Plus when I go into settings and go to accounts&sync my...

can you sign into your gmail on a computer? if your password has changed you would need to resign in on your phone with the new password. what type of phone do you have?

I'm locked out of my phone, I forgot my password and there is no way for me to get my numbers or anything out. What should I do?

u can try factory reset the device like this but all data will be wiped off pls active sync ur device and backup ur data then try this

To perform a hard reset

1. Pull out the stylus.
2. With the device turned on, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and
ENTER buttons, then press the RESET button with the stylus tip.
3. Release the RESET button, but continue pressing the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons until you see a message on the screen for the confirmation


4. Release the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, then press the
VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other
button to cancel the reset.

if it doesnt help then u can upgrade ur ROM from www.HTC.com and it will also solve ur problem
