Just bought the vocalist live 4 My guitar is coming through nice and clean but I can't here any vocals. My leads and mic are all in working order and I have tried many combinations to try and hear some vocals. Also I can only tune the low E on the guitar when using the tuner is there a trick to this as well.. Have you any suggestions that might help me. cheers
Sounds like the mic you are using requires "Phantom Power." This means, you will likely have to purchase an external unit for this power (+48V) power to the unit. I use a Behringer Ultra-Voice Pro for mine. Works great!! You can find these on Ebay at a steal!

I'm having a similar problem with my Sterling audio ST-55 mic and a acoustic guitar. I regenerates the signal and sounds like it's under water. I turned down the mic input knob on the back of the unit until I got a clean sound. The only down downside to this is you have to practically eat the mic.
As for solution #1... Another mic choice will do the trick.
But the other technique with putting a wall between your guitar and mic doesn't sound like it would work if you are sitting in front of your digital recorder with a mic in front of you and a guitar in you lap.

Check to make sure the output jack has not broken away from the circuit board. If not it may have to go back to Digitech.
