Battery is not charging when plugged

Hello! It seems that you have a problem with the laptop charger connector. It maybe in short circuit. You can try to look for some electronic workshop that works with reballing, BGA solder, etc., that might change it. In Portugal we have some, so I think in other countries you can find them to.

Turn off your laptop first, then remove the battery. Plug the charger then turn on your laptop wait until it loads completely then put back the battery on your laptop while it's on.

We know it is a power problem, there can be a few issues and just guessing because it is not in front of me I can tell you if the machine does not power on with the battery taken out or with the battery in and power plug out. It is either the power supply unit which you changed out or a board issue or the power button is bad. If I was to just guess which is all I can do from this end. If I had a choice to replace the power button or the board I would do the power button first if that does not work then a new or refurbished board is needed. I suggest you take it in to a computer repair place so they can test these items out. John

try removing the battery and reinserting it in to the socket.
make sure your charger has voltage recommended or stamped on the case. If not, then replace the charger.

Sounds like a faulty battery. It's saying it's charged but obviously isn't. Best to check the battery contacts are clean first though obviously, otherwise try another battery.

Try unplugging it and removing the battery. Wait a few minutes. Yes actual minutes. Then put the battery back in and try again.

When you get back in try rolling back to a restore point when you know things were working well.

Could be a software update of some kind threw things out of whack.

Try to diconect power cord and a battery and leave it for 10-20 min. Then plug them back. I solved once such an issue with MSI Gaming notebook GX600.

Try to plug in the power cable alone, do it without the battery and see if your wireless works.  If your wireless works without the battery, and works with the cable alone it may be a battery conductivity problem.  

Charge the Battery fully before first use . The red flashing indicator shows that the battery has been deeply or fully discharged . Please Connect your laptop to AC power source and let it remain for well over 10 hours atleast.If the battery pack is alive it might recover and start working normally.

cud be your onboard voltage regulator for the battery charging. if you remove the battery and use the external power source does it smell also?
if the battery charges normal out of the unit, and the laptop works well with the AC power unit without the battery, then it's your voltage regulator for the batt charging
