u can get the latest firmware direct from samsung.com and the go to http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/download/supportDownload and type your model no hope this helps thanks john

Take your scope and see if you have any activity on the LVDS cable on the main digital board as you press the menu button or the menu on the remote. If you do not see anything then replace the main board. If you do then the plasma display panel is probably bad. Time for the bone yard.

Commonly for plasma tv's if the screen went out,,the problem will be the CATHODE RAY TUBE,it is costly to buy.if you want you can buy it,,or it may be the D-board problem will be also,,,
but it is unusual,so check the tube.

YOUR OTHER POWER SUPPLY IS GOOD, YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE Y-BUFFER AND Y-MAIN BOARDS

Ur backlight video inverter board it totally burn PCB,must be replace,might have to check for other boards ,because major burned.

Try unplugging it and then replug it back in. Other then that im not sure what would work. If it's under warranty then i suggest getting it replaced. Otherwise i believe the tube it blown. Sorry i can't help much more then that.

Ur video backlight inverter board it dead,need a repalcement.

samsung boards are around $200 EACH , usually a bad buffer burns out the Y board , buit yours sounds like a burn power suppy, do a visual of the PS, if looks ok ck for the VA and VS voltages (there is a tag with the values on it) . if the VA or VS is low or missing you will probably need the Y and both Y buffers.
