Hi I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I TOOK THE electronic BOARD OUT AND FOUND that the main power relay (that's the big black square on the board with the black and red wire connected to the top of it.) solder joints were loose. I bought a cheap soldering gun and resoldered the relay connections at the bottom of the board............Works Fine now................FC

SOURCE: Flame has stopped flickering on

Probably, neither. If there's no brightness at all, the bulbs are burned out and need to be replaced. If the brightness is there, but no flickering, then it's probably the motor or the shaft that the bulbs are on is stuck and can't rotate. Really not an uncommon problem with electric fireplaces, no matter who the manufacturer is. If you don't hear a humming noise when the flame function is turned ON. the motor may have overheated and shut down.

To test this, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the fireplace from the wall outlet. Wait 12 - 15 minutes. Plug the unit back in and Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Turn just the flame function ON. If it starts right up, the motor has cooled and the unit reset itself. If this continues to occur on a regular basis, contact the manufacturer's Technical Service Dept. If nothing happened after it was turned back ON, contact the manufacturer for replacement parts.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

I have a Comfort Zone fireplace heater model CZFP20M. The artificial flame stopped working. Is there a fuse inside? Anyone else have this problem? The heater still works btw.

It is possible that there is a fuse inside the Comfort Zone Fireplace Heater model # CZFP20M that has blown, causing the artificial flame to stop working. You should check the owner's manual or contact the manufacturer to determine if there is a fuse in the unit and where it is located. It's also possible that the artificial flame stopped working due to a malfunction in the control module or other electrical component. In this case, it's recommended to get the unit inspected by a professional technician.

It's not uncommon for artificial flames to stop working, it could be due to a variety of issues such as a malfunction in the control module, a blown fuse, or a problem with the artificial flame itself. I recommend checking the owner's manual or contacting the manufacturer for troubleshooting steps or to see if there have been any known issues with the model you have. If you are unable to find a resolution or the problem persist, it's always best to get the unit inspected by a professional technician.

I have a fireplace purchased from home depot. We had a power outage and the pole outside had a fuse blown from a major storm. The fireplace never came on after power was restored 3 days later. I dont...

If you still have the owners manual it should tell you the location of any resets, fuseible links,or fuses.I think from a storm of that intensity that if you are lucky it just tripped the reset. I also would double check all breakers and fuses. Before I spent the money on a new one I would verify that you have power to fireplace.Any decent electrician should be able to check this for a minimum charge. I hope this is some help. Thanks

Electric fireplace just blows out cold air it is a Century model # is HEF26

It would seem to me that the Thermal fuse has "Blown" this is an internal protection device that operate from heat... they often fail spontaneously, when this happens oftem all else works but no heat.
You will have to take it to a reputable repair shop/man and get a firm "Quote" for repair.
