I would like to have one of the 4 soft keys be a transfer button, but the manual i have does not list a 2 digit code to use for transfer when programing the soft keys. I know the phone had it at one time. How can i get one of the soft keys on my samsung 816 phone to be able to be used as a transfer button??

Transfering on a Prostar 816 is done by using the DSS buttons on the right hand side of the phone. This is accomplished by having your outside call in progress and pressing the DSS button of the persons extension you wish to transfer it to. If you want to screen the call wait for the extension to answer otherwise hang up and the call will be transfered. Transfer keys were only placed on the 800 series sets and was a non movible button.

One of the 4 soft keys on the top of the 816 was already programed as a transfer button and works great, but i cant find a code to program the other phones i have. I bought this system used and only the one phone had the transfer button programmed into it
