Power steering for Daewoo Matiz

that sounds like it might be power steering fluid, so check your level, and look at hoses and hose ends where they go into the pump reservoir. If that all looks good, it might be your brakes-check your brake reservoir level, and look at the metal lines that run from the master cylinder, under the car to each wheel.

you need to remove the screws in the back of the steering wheel that hold in the air bag then unplug the air bag. behind it you will find one center bolt loosen that and your steering wheel is out.

make sure your battery posts are screwed tightly

It may be the synchro of the first gear.  It may have been worn out.  To check, you may try to put it in 2nd gear before putting it into first to be sure.

Yes it can be done. I removed the battery and tray and gearbox mount only then was able to wriggle the motor out (after removing sarter,alternator,power steering and air con compressor). Also removing the plastic cover near the front pulley helped. Need small hands! Good luck!

Loo between both light in the long **** shape gap just below where the bonnet is. If you look to the right, you should see a black cable hanging down. If not the it has snapped away, but if you can. Here is what you can to to open the bonnet. Use a long pair of plires and gab the cable. When you have a good grip, pull the cable firmly to the right (passenger side light). This should open the bonnet. It has worked for me....

cam sensor is called the optical sensor and is located in the distributer

put 2bar air pressure in the front tyres ,then it will be as light a casias clay with float like a buttertfly saying .and check the oil level ,if low top up then turn steering full lock left to right and back then check fluid again and top up if necessary
