Hi
the key code is the security code or the password that is enabled in the router, are you trying to connect to you own comcast network or to someone elses??
if you are conecting to your own comcast network then you need to log into the computer which can go online using you comcast box, once you are in that computer you need to go ahead and click on start, run in the box type in cmd and hit enter,it shud open a black box for you in this black box go ahead and check the default gateway an example of default gateway wud be like this no 192.168.1.1,make a note of the default gateway and open an internet explorer page now type the default gateway in the address box without http,it shud open the router page for you from comcast,it will tell you to put in the user name and password, the default for comcast is username is comcast and password is 1234 incase you cannot login you can contact comcast so that they can reset the password for you, once you are in this page you will see the wireless setting click on it and there you will see something wghich says wireless security or wep key or authentication key that is the key code..u can now use this key code to connect to the network....
if you are trying to conect to someone elses network thent he person who has setup the wireles comcast network will be able to give you the network key...

I SIGNED UP but have been unable to watch anything. Called comcast .my blue ray is not connecting to internet. I haVE wireless THAT'S NOT PROBLEM. Called Netflix 2x's still haven&#

It seems the problem is your Blu-Ray player can't connect to your wireless network. Based on what you said (and based on what the problem usually is), I'm guessing that you don't have the WPA (or WEP) key to your network. If you don't know it, you can log in to your router and look on the "security" or "wireless security" tab. It might be called "WEP key" or "WPA passkey" or "network password" or whatever. That is probably the code that the Blu-Ray player is looking for.

I could get more specific if you posted the make and model of your Blu-Ray player and router (or access point). If you also post the operating system (Windows XP or 7 or MacOS X or whatever) of a computer that is able to connect wirelessly, I can tell you how to get the WPA key off that computer.

Hello, I have Dynex Dx-ebusb WiFi adapter, my Laptop has operation system -Windowls 7. Every time when I try to connect some network, I have a limited access to this connection. Maybe i don't have...

It sounds like you don't have the correct security (WEP/WPA) key. if you are trying to connect to your own network, I need more information. if you are trying to connect to someone else's network, please stop, it's illegal.

The security setting changed to access my wireless

Hello there!

Well, there can me a lot of small little problems for you this time. I suggest you to firstly logon your router via his general ip adress. After you change wireless password entry settings (i suggest you to use wpa2 systems, I suppose you dont need bigger security if its home network) , you should then check your wireless reciever, restart it, refresh transmiter to search new connections, and when it founds your name connection, i.e. Dynex G, click on it and it should automaticly asks you for a password. Enter it and save it. Thats about it.

Sincerely

How do I find the WEP Code for my Wireless G Dynex?

The wep key is setup on the wireless router, not the adapter. If you do not have the login information for the router, then the easiest thing to do is reset the router to default settings (this removes any existing keys) and then configure it with a new key. If you reset the router, you will need to connect to the router with a network cable to reconfigure it.

Cannot get wireless adapter to connect to wireless router

The key number is the passphrase on your router when you initially set it up. Usually you'll need to enter it when you set up a wireless router.

Wireless signal keeps dropping/dissapearing

Check my tip
Using Router and Wlan adapter from different brand (Dynex + Belkin) is sometime calling for trouble: you must configure both to be sure to be on same standard (or change Both).
I'm using Netgear + Belkin and tune is not easy
On router config check radio power, reduce the used standard (B/G A/N) to the only one used by Belkin adapter (N).
Be sure you removed Windows zero wireless configuration (= use windows to manage my connection= OFF)
edit your belking wireless networking utility to automatic reconnect:

try downgrading to G standard from router side
Check your network connection plugging your laptop to router via lan cable.and check network params (DHCP DNS etc.).
Then check wlan connection near router, if you experience wlan drops only when far from router, find any possible interferences source (Microwave, cordless, remote) remove it or be ware you cannot have wlan when your wave is working.
