I recently got a laptop (toshiba satellite A200-27Z from a friend and it doesnt work the power cord led flashes blue rapidly i have tried removing all ram hdd and i noticed the cpu fan tries to spin every time the light flashes what could it mean any suggestions to fix it
Have you tried another Cord with the EXACT same power specs? Remove the battery. Has the cord/charger/transformer been damaged? Has the AC jack been damaged? Due to pulling on the cord while plugged in? At the AC jack "wiggle" the plug a bit to see if the plug and AC jack are making a good connection or Loose. Sounds like a loose AC connection.
i put my ear to the power cables power block and i heard it was powering on and off with the light on the laptop im going to buy a new power cord and see if it held anything
Good idea Make sure the Power specs are Exact. If it doesn't get warm/hot it's not working.
yeah it was cold after i tried to leave it to charge the laptop i think the caps on the board inside it are burst so im just going to get a new one
thanks for helping man

Here's a link to a good article that will help you to troubleshoot the startup error. You might also check Toshiba support online and see what the error light code indicates.
