Error code 5 E : Ice Maker Function Error - Ice-ejector and level failed three times or more. May simply be a trapped piece of ice which is not too rare a problem especially if the freezer door is left open too long.The ice pieces will stick to each other. It may dislodge itself or if the problem persists you may have to de-freeze it ( letting the freezer defrost over night.)

Your refrigerator is in "Cooling Off" mode, or sometimes called "Store Display Mode", which basically allows everything in the fridge to function except for the Cooling system. Press and hold down the "Lighting" and "Freezer" buttons for 5 seconds until you hear the "Ding Ding". Your 'fridge will be working again.

a properly operating icemaker can take up to 4 hours to make a batch of ice. the cycles are timed internally, so no there isn't a way to speed it up

your cooling system must be damaged or connecting wires are ligued.

sounds like a defrost issue defrost clock heater or limit could be bad
