Hi, my husband computer died just before Christmas and we are trying to retreive the data from his IBM laptop stored on our Storejet 320 GB and upload it onto my Sony Vaio. However when we plug the Storejet into the Vaio we can only access the data that is a back up from the Vaio and not able to access the data from the IBM Can you please tell us how we access the Data from the IBM and upload it onto the Vaio - so we can get on with our lives Thanks your advice will be greatly appreciated
If the hard drive in the IBM laptop is OK then remove the hard drive from this laptop. Connect this hard drive to an USB hard drive adapter then connect the USB adapter with the hard drive into the USB port on the Vaio laptop. The Vaio laptop should see it as an external storage device (if the hard drive is OK). You can then open the various folders and files then copy these to the Vaio laptop

Good day!
1. Go to my computer and right click then click manage, go to disk management and see if your external harddisk is showed. If showed, then you can see the options there to manipulate your harddisk, either you format it or repartition.
2. You can use also a disk manager software to fully control the function.

Hi,
Install it another computer which is running well.If your Hdd run well in that computer ,change the USB cable .If the HDD can not run in another pc you think, you have lost data.Because that Hdd cant run any more.
If the problem is same.
follow the step
R_click on my computer>Properties>Hardware>Device manager>uninstall all the usb hub ,one after one .
After UN install all the usb, restart your PC .
If the problem , is same as before ,
Insert your OS in the cd tray > press Win key + R>type sfc /scannow (please take a space between sfc and front slash)>hit enter .Again you will restart the PC.
If the problem is same please change the Hard disk.
Hope it will help you.
Thanks.

If it's asking to be formatted you need data recovery help. For remote data recovery and do-it-yourself data recovery see http://FreeDataRecovery.us
Hi,
Hard
drive recovery software is the exact answer for your question how to restore crashed hard drive Mac data.
Some days back, due to software conflicts my Mac hard drive was crashed and I
was unable to access my data stored in it. I was really tensed because the
stored data was very much important to me. Then I searched over the internet
and found this software which successfully restored all my lost data and I was very
much happy after getting back my data. The software can be downloaded either
from official website or by simply clicking here.
Good
luck,
