Ok, it took awhile to remember, but to reset the analog time or the day or anything else, first push the "mode" button which is at the 8:00 position on the side of the watch, 3 times. The first push will bring up the stopwatch, the 2nd push will change the alarm time, the 3rd push will highlight the seconds which on the watch face is at the 6:00 position. Release after the 3rd push and push the "reset" button which is located at the 4:00 position. It will start flashing the hour first. If that is what you need to change, then push the "start" button which is at the 2:00 position. Either keep pushing the start button to set the hour or hold the button in if you have more than a couple of hours to change. When that is done, if you need to change the minutes, push the "reset" button again and the minutes should be highlighted and do the same thing with the "start" button until you have the minutes set where you want. When you are done changing whichever thing needs to be set, including the alarm time, push the "mode" button and everything will stay set. This is for the Pop Art 693 AD watch which if you buy through ebay, it's an awesome watch with dual analog/digital time displays, etc. it comes with no instructions. If all else fails, go to the jewelry counter at a Walmart and hopefully the worker there can help. We found that once with a different watch. I hope this helps everyone!!
press on the MR/C (set) button. This button is located on the calculator buttons area of the watch. Hold this button until the date begins to blink. you select the numbers you want to set the date and time to by pressing the correspondent numbers on the key pad. once the date and time is set press the enter key.
There should be four buttons: mode, reset, start and light. Find the mode button and press it three times until it is in the set time mode.
2
Find the reset button, which usually is located on the bottom right side of the watch face, and hold it until the time starts blinking.
3
Press the start button to change minutes.
4
Press the reset button again to switch to hours. You will know it worked when the hour starts blinking instead of the minutes.
5
Press the start button to change the hour. The watch can handle two modes: standard and military. As you press start, the hour will change from AM to PM, noted by an "A" or a "P" in the top right. When you get through 24 hours, the watch will change to military time and an "H" will be displayed instead of "A" or "P." Keep pressing start to go through another 24-hour cycle and it will revert back to standard time.
6
Press the reset button to switch to the date, starting with the month, and press start to change it.
7
Press reset one last time to switch from month to the day, and again press the start button to switch days.
It sounds like your watch is not coming out of set mode. Make sure that when you are done setting the watch that the display is no longer flashing. This is usually done by holding down the mode or reset button. If this is not the case then have the watch AC'd. As long as there is no problem with the circuit board this should fix the problem.
I think I have the same watch and was just looking here to see if I could find how to stop the alarm going off every hour! However, I think I do know how to change the time: press the mode button three times (the first one brings up something like the stopwatch, the second brings up what may be an alarm time). On the third press you should get the time appearuing with the seconds flashing on the far right of the display. You can then change the second by pressing the"start" button. To change the minutes or hours, oress the "reset" button until they start flashing and use the start button again. pressing the reset button again will bring up the date to change. keep pressing until nothing is flashing any more and poress mode and it should bring you back to the current time. hope you can follow this and it works!
go to the normal time setting, where nothing is flashing. then press and hold reset. then the time you want the alarm on shows up. in order to turn the alarm off press start...press start again to turn it on
do you have the button on your watch named "el" its the top left one, press and hold it for 3 secs. after you can change the time. you can press the mode button to change it :)
