Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct. It wont stop saying this over and over again no matter what I do Im going insane I cant add anymore new music please help! Ive looked everywhere and it does not tell me how to access any files at all some one please give me detail and how to get there!
Windows Media player has limited options for playing different formats of file. But it can be corrected. Try download the full CODEC pack. You can get it free, but always choose the advanced options from the download site, as it might try and change or add new browsers or other software.
Once installed it should play any file.
SOURCE: WMP 11 can't access files to sync with sansa clip
1ST: Just try to 'reset' by holding down the main center button AND pushing UP on the lock/off-on button, for about 8-9 seconds,
It will then 'refresh' the database, shouldn't lose anything,
OR:
Most other problems can be fixed ultimately by the following;
REFORMAT the SansaDisk Clip by finding it in My Computer and right click then just 'format' the thing. THEN drag and drop new music into it (or books), DRAG and DROP, you apparently erase the thing with a 'FORMAT' ....BUT - it's .sys files remain and it is like new {as in empty}
This usually fixes almost anything, should even erase a virus (I'm guessing) but shouldn't hurt it.
Good Luck!
SOURCE: sansa fuze 2gb some sync'ing some not on windows media 11
Go into Windows Media Player --> click the black arrow under the Rip tab --> Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3
Now re-rip the songs from CD
Delete the versions of the songs that you just ripped from your mp3 player
Now Sync the newly-ripped versions in mp3 format
You should be good to go now

What i would recommend you to do is if you have windows xp to uninstall windows media player 11 and reinstall windows media player...if you already have 10 just upgrade to 11..
That should solve the problem
I hope that helps
Thank you
