You will need the original manual to see where the connections go, since they are in a section of the motherboard that will have a lot of pins standing up. The problem is that all these pins connect to other things and lights on your case. Find the manual or download the manual from your motherboard supplier (IE Asus, Techtronics) once you have that you will be able to see where the connections go.

Final thought, Most of your ground wires will be the white ones. Check the other connectors that you still have connected and see what colour is the most common, meaning what colour do all the rest have in common. Usually it is white but sometimes it's black. The ground wire will be the most common colour so the other wire will usually always be the power side, IE Purple/white Purple will be the +side white the -Neg side.

If your picures are all purple it means that the green colour is missing. TV colour is made up by mixing Red, Green & Blue. Removing Green leaving Red & Blue makes purple. Study the green colour circuit for a fault and confirm that the green gun inside the tube is working.

Could be a few things....first you need to isolate a signal source issue or a faulty LED lamp. Simply unplug your signal source and run the menus on the projector. Purple Gone with source unplugged = faulty source our signal Purple still there = faulty device Sounds crazy but make sure you have no interference devices running real close within say 2 feet. cell phone, microwave, magnets, high voltage eletricity...etc
