You can't. You can only do simple functions, on , off, volume and channels. ALL televisions need a remote. You can buy an original from LG or you can buy copies. Don't get a universal.

Buy a univesal remote control, which have setup codes for LG tV. You can get this information from the catelogue accompanied with the remote control. There will be proceedings also to setup the remot to tV. Or get its orginal remote control from the authorised service center for LG at your town.
