I am at the reception desk where the main phone is located. Currently incoming calls ring on all phones in the office. It has become a distraction for the phone in the conference room to ring so I need to silence that phone only. I still need to transfer calls to that number and access the intercom. Thanks for your help.

When you say you are the one responsible for the programming, are you referring to programming the "physical phone" or the PBX and line cards and system functionality?
You should have an extension on your phone. Has that extension for example 222 been translated at the PBX to ring on a direct number -> (xxx) 555-1222
Or by what you are describing, you are more looking at having "shared lines" that ring in multiple locations simultaneously, and once picked up somewhere a "line lock" should be in place?

I guess this is alittle late... but for your knowledge:
First you need to know the extension of the phone that you want to change. Feature 0 at the phone you want to change and hit the intercom key to ensure that we are programming the right phone.
To get into programming press:
-> FEATURE 2 6 6 3 4 4
-> Password: 2 6 6 3 4 4
Now you will have to look at your LCD for 3 arrows
<- Heading..Enter->
<- Back .......Next->
-> you will now see TERMINALS&SETS and press Enter (the top right arrow key) now put in the extn that you want to change.
-> you should now see the extension number of the set and the name that is associated with it, press Enter (the top right arrow key) again
-> now you will see LINE ACCESS and press Enter (the top right arrow) again then LINE ASSIGNMENT and hit Enter again
-> then you will see Show line:____ and input 001
-> it will show something like L001: Unassigned now press CHANGE till it says Appear&Ring
-> keep putting in all the lines that you want to ring at your desk
till all the lines are found (the numbering scheme counts out funny for Norstar it goes: line 001,002,003,004,025,026,027,028)
-> after you find all the Lines, you now hit RLS to back out of programming.
Voila, your phone will now ring. To change back, do all the same steps, but input Unassigned instead of Appear&Ring.

Hi Lori Godino, I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Is the conference room phone a digital set or a single line polycom type phone?
