SOURCE: flashing red light on Worcester 24i junior combi boiler

Pressure is ok? at 1 bar or above
I think on this one there should be a reset button [red] on the left hand top of the casing - or lower the control panel [ phillips screw on each side] and the button is on the left of the base plate. Press this and try the heating.or hot tap
P.S. if you're on a prepayment meter check you have gas.

Testimonial: "Thank you, very helpful advice. Still got the plumber coming to check everything over but the boiler is up and running for now. Thank you so much"

Intermittent lockout

One of or both of two problems. The ignition board could be on its way out and needs to be replaced and or the flame sensor/igniter may be dirty and need to be cleaned or the porciline may be cracked and it's grounding out when it try's to light. I would replace both anyway and problemed solved. Good luck

I HAVE A HALSTEAD ACER HIGH BOILER AND IT IT IS SAYING LOCK OUT ON THE BOILER WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX IT

The overload button is on the left underside of the unit. There is a finger sized hol and the button is in there. Once you have reseet the button you will also have to reset the boiler by using the switch on the control panel (furhtest left switch).

My boiler will not reset and the green light keeps flashing

The nozzle on the burner is probably clogged. Have a service tech who is qualified look at the burner. Pressing the reset button repeatedly will fill up the chamber with oil and create a dangerous situation.

I have a digistat scr with a flashing red light and no heating there is nothing wrong with the batteries, this only occured after a poweer cut.

Try this first before condeming the unit.

1. Turn off the power supply to the Digistat SCR (receiver unit)
and leave for 5 seconds.
2. Turn on power to SCR unit and check red light is on.
3. Press override button No.2 and check the green light comes
on and boiler fires.
4. Press & hold down button No.1 (Keep depressed), then
press No.2 and keep depressed. {The Red LED light will flash
a couple of times and then it will go out}
5. Now release both the buttons – {the two LED lights should
come back on}
6. Get the Digistat+2RF/+3RF unit and stand two metres away
from the SCR unit with the Digistat+2RF/+3RF unit in your hand.
7. Remove the battery cover and fit the batteries.
8. The Red LED light on the SCR will now flash for approx. 7
seconds.
9. This confirms that the radio signal is being sent and
received.
10. The Digistat+2RF/+3RF and the SCR are now successfully
linked by a dedicated RF address.
