Trying reset the bios password on here pb legend 2440

hello I have packard bell model Alp-Ajax c2 and there is password for BIOS and i wanna make format for pc but i can not because the boot from hardisk i tried to change that but every once ask me password although i did not make any pasword

I start my computer with power botton but after this nothing happen, no carachteritics sound, black screen only the 3 leds lights works. No bootstrap, i have tried with a linux live cd but didn't...

Have you Checked the power Supply? it sounds like the power supplyhas gone bad.

Why you want to open the laptop? on the back of the laptop are some screw take aut all the screw and is all ready open, take care to not break any conection under the keyboard and mouse.
