SOURCE: Crack inside of screen

This screen has multiple layers of plastic before you get to the main screen, if the picture isnt affected, you've only cracked oneof the plastic pieces, these are cheap to replace

Samsung Cracked Screen

You no longer have a TV but a parts unit. In most cases, It will cost more to replace the screen than buying a new TV set. Although it is cracked, it still has some value, don't toss it in the dump. Throw that puppy on Craigslist or Ebay(if you have the shipping box) someone will be interested and buy it. Just be realistic with your asking price. Don't be like some lady I encountered who wanted $350 for her Dynex 42" LCD with a cracked screen !!!

Can I replace a broken Samsung 42" plasma PN42B450B1D screen with a Samsung 42" plasma SP-S4243 screen? Are the screens interchangeable?

No, you cant. I have 2 tvs just like yours but the LN model is newer than the SP model tv. I have the same problem, my LN tv has a cracked screen and the other SP model is good

To fix it would require replacing the LCD panel... the biggest ticket item of the whole TV.

Screen cracked

Unfortunately the only option with a cracked screen is to buy a new tv. These screens are more expensive to replace than to buy a new tv. The only other option you may have is to sell the tv with the cracked screen to someone for parts who has the same model tv or maybe a tv repair shop will buy it from you. With that being said, you might can call some repair shops and who knows, maybe they have a screen from a disposed tv that will work. Whatever the case you are better off just buying a new tv and either keeping that one or selling it for parts.

Samsung 42'' model no.ln-t4053h 8 mod code#lnt4053hx/xaa

The panel costs over $800 to replace. The broken/cracked panel cannot be fixed as the glass inside is cracked. It is not worth repairing. However, I would be interested in it for the parts. If you still have it, would you be open to selling it to me at a reasonable price? Please call me at 310-770-1444. Thank You, Jeff

I have a surface crack in my panasonic 60 in lcd tv. Model #pt60lc14. Where can I find a replacement?

Im afraid to tell you there really isn't a replacement for a cracked screen. LCD's don't have thin film over them like old projector big screens.
