How do you set a quicksilver windy watch

You will need to pull out adjuster and turn to
right or left depending on the date you have on it.
Today 11th so if on 1st turn clockwise until you get
to 11th.

1.by windy you mean mechanical?
2. if yes, then move the hands clockwise watching the calender until new date appears.
3. now turn hands anti- clockwise a little and clockwise again. Keep doing until you get today;s date.
4. set the watch to correct time. good luck.

Hey Malcolm, just bought this watch so I hope it is the same. Press the MODE button (bottom left) until you get AL. Then press the STAR/LAP (top left) this gives you the options of turning it off : ON with Alarm or ON with Alarm and CHM (I think this is the hourly chim) or OFF. (Located above the Quicksilver brand mark) Hope this helps!

I looked at the Quiksilver web site but could not find the model you have.

If you go to thier web site http://www.quiksilver.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=2978686&sr=1&origkw=watches, you will see a list of watches and clicking on one of them will take you to a page that has "manuals" near the bottom.

Click on this and you will see a heading "analogue watches" but there are no instructions for digital types. If you watch is a digital watch, then I can only suggest that you contact them and ask them to send you a copy.

Its best to change on the hour.Stop your watch so that the second hand is pointing to 12.
Move the hands to the time i.e 10am then advance the minute hand 5 mins past the hour, then turn it back to 10am, when the time comes push set and your hands are set.
I think you might have not moved the minute hand forward 5 mins and back.

You can now set your digital time from your hands setting.

A. Press and hold MODE until HOURS digits flash (you’ll be in Alarm Mode). Press MODE again
to enter TIME mode. SECONDS digits will flash.

B. Press ADJUST to set SECONDS to zero.

C. Press START/STOP to select MINUTES.

D. Press ADJUST to change.

E. Repeat to set HOURS, MONTH, DATE, and DAY of WEEK. Go through 12 hours to set AM
or PM.

F. Press MODE when done.

Hello I have the same watch and had the same problem. You press the mode button till you get to the point to change the main time, you then press the reset button (bottom button on right side of the watch)to toggle to the hour place, you then cycle thru the time untill the "h" in the top right hand corners disappears and then the watch will be back on regular time.

Hold down the adjust button bottom right then press the mode button top left you will notice the a or p that stands for am/pm will disappear & reappear. If you have an a or p on your display then you are out of military time.
