on that model that you have you need to turn the unit off , take the water tank off, then the base where the fan is should come off. under the main base the filter will be under that. all you do is take the old filter off and put the new filter on. if you have any other questions please let us know.
turn the unit off then take the tank off then the base which is the fan portion and the filter fits right there.. if it's a round filter then it slips right on. now if it's the squares they will slip into some slots and usually they will take about 4 if that's the case. if you have any other question please feel free to let me know.
Remove the water tank from the main unit. Now look down into the unit where the water tank sits. There is a small knob that you need to turn counter clockwise and the lower part of the unit incl the filter will slide out.
I haven't used my humidifier in a few years and do not remember where to place all the filters. Does it require 3 filters?
