Huskee Snowblower has to be constantly at high RPM to throw snow

I can move the throttle from low to high and the RPM speed doesn't change. I have to adjust the bottom screw on the carburator to the point where it sounds like the engine is going to blow up so when i get into the snow it will actually throw snow.

It sounds like the sping that goes from the throttle lever to the govonor arm is either streched or broken.

I have a 2009 troy- bilt snowblower 10/24,and when it is under a load it does not rev-up to high to throw the snow, what causes that?

check the linkage to be sure gov is working
its not going to rev up higher ,but it should maintain speed (rpm)
be sure to match your foot speed to amount of snow trying to remove. you can feed it too fast

Snowblower c950 52361 throttle will not change out of idle

Sounds like snow blower has been sitting since last season. Remove carburetor shield and move throttle linkage at top of carburetor. They some times seize or tighten up from sitting.Spray with WD-40 or something to lubricate.

Snowblower will not throw snow as far as before.

two things to do. One, get the carb service and have them check the governor.

Two, have the auger belt replaced.

My snowblower does not seem to run at full speed. Barely throws snow recently. Any adjustments I can make?

There is a spring attached to the throttle linkage. At the other end is an arm that the spring attaches to. Bend the arm so that the spring is tighter and it will throttle up higher under a load. Don't go too far or you will take a chance of blowing the engine. Best to use a rpm tester and set it to factory specs.

I have a toro snowblower with a 2 cycle engine. When it's just running under no load it seems fine(maybe a little too high of rpm). When it starts throwing snow it gradually slows down until it quits...

It sounds like it is running lean. Back out your carbuerator adjustment screws a quarter turn counterclockwise. These settings should be 1 and a quarter on low speed (closest to engine block) and 1 and a half on high speed (farthest from engine block). These are starting points the adjustment may vary a little eigther way. Never adjust for max rpms that is too lean and will cause engine failure. Hope this helps ya.
