SOURCE: The Fan on my Dell Latitude D600 laptop is clean, but not running
2 possible causes
1- the fan its broken and its need a replace one.
2- the thermal sensor of the mother does not funtion proprierly and need a change of mother.
1- solution try to buy a new fan and change it
2- 1 solution its a change of mother, but this is very costly, you will find external laptop fan, pad fan for notebook or something like that could do the work, if the notebook doenst shut down very often you will fine, because the notebook old dont raise a lot of temperature.
