Front drain pipe has come off, how to refix it

Model FR1250W Small drain pipe (next to the filter) has come off and flooded the kitchen. What panels do I take off to refix it? I had a look underneath, that is how I found out it is no longer connected but can't see where it should go. Should I take off back panel..? Any help will be appreciated

If somebody knows where to find a diagram of this washingmachine on the web that would be a great help. At least I would know where the pipe connects to. I am sure it is there somewhere on the web, but I am not clever enough to find it. Thanks for your help.

Lay down the washing machine and on the underside (bottom) you can access to a filter and small drainage hose.

if its less than 15 years old its a direct drive whirlpool, no belt, remove the cabinet, not the back panel. look up direct drive whirlpool washer cabinet removal on internet, and replace the coupler, most likely, if it drains.

SOURCE: my machine won't drain and I can't find the

After having removed back panel, locate and remove large black hose fastened to bottom of drum.
Remove and clean plastic filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.
Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: My Samsung WF218ANW/XAA front load washer will not

lefever352, I am currently trying to solve this same issue on the identical model. I removed , cleaned, and re-assembled all the water tubes and the entire pump assembly. The pump works but for some reason it is not priming into the drain tube. The pump assembly appears to have a diaphram over the outlet opening and it it looks like this might be the problem. I am still hunting the solution, BUT so far the above actions have to resolve our issue. I hope perhaps Fixya can help.

I have a DWD-F1222 front loader washing machine. The drain filter has come away from the machine. How do I reconnect it? If I use the machine now, will it flood everywhere

Lesley, there is likely a spring clamp that held the hose on. Either it's still on the part the hose attached to, or it came off with the hose and fell away. Either way, you will need to locate this clamp and secure it around the hose when it's back in position. This may require taking the panel off so you are able to see inside better.

Kenmore washing machine 2 year old is now flooding my floor every 20 loads happiend 4 times. Please help.

Is the water flooding coming from the top of the washing machine?
Check the drain pipe in the back to see that it's not loose. Also, look inside the drain pipe and make sure there is no algae. Algae might cause low flow through the drain pipe and it will overflow.

Hope this helps.

Turned machine on. After few seconds it switched to the end of cycle. I believe it is something to do with the drain. I emptied the filter ... now getting a noise showing E30 when put it on again.

Usually indicates pressure switch problem. If the machine overfills then it goes into a drain cycle to prevent flooding. If you remove the lid you will see a small round part about 3 inches in diameter with a thin pipe pushed onto it and a wiring plug onto it. remove the pipe and blow though it and if the pipe is clear then you may have to replace the switch

Our Electrolux front loadeing washer wont drain, and now it wont unlock! clothes are sitting in water and we cant open the door to get them out. Oh yeah...its giving us an E-21 error code. No...

Hello,
You will have to get the water out, down by the filter at bottom lhs see if there is a small rubber hose next to filter if there is it should pull out so far then you can remove the small plug on end to drain into a container. If no hose down then try putting the drain hose down to floor level into a bucket or out of an exit door to syphon out water.Or get machine filter by an exit door and release the filter plug and let water drain out.E21 means that there is either some blockage in the pump or the drain pipe may be kinked or blocked.

Quiet partner lll, only button that seems to work is cancel/drain , any ideas

The anti flood activates when water (even a small amount) appears on the bottom of the machiene. This is usualy a leaking pipe but can also be caused by a clogged pipe. Most machiens do have a plastic pipe that (from the flat water tank) feeds water to the bottom of the machiene in case of an internal fault. The anti flood is normaly a polystireen float with micro switch on the base of the washer. This automatically puts the outlet pump on to drain the water.

Need to know how to re-set the anti-flood device

I managed to clean the filter inside the dishwasher and drain a little residual water. I then re-plugged in the appliance and the anti-flood device seemed to reset and I have n't had any problems since.

Not draining and flooding my kitchen!

hiya
first off norah, you will need to check the pump filter as there is probably a blockage in there.

secondly guest, sounds like a faulty pressure switch or even a small hole in the pressure pipe, thats why your machine will not stop filling.

hope these help

please dont forget to rate the helpfulness of this reply thanks kj
